Met tickets cost 25 for adults and 12 for students. Situated on the roof of the metropolitan museum the aptly named met rooftop bar offers sweeping views of central park and beyond that can be enjoyed with wine. The met rooftop garden bar is open from mid april through october on sunday thursday from 11 00 am 4 30 pm and friday saturday from 11 00 am 10 00 pm but you must enter the museum by 8 45 pm. There s a very large roof at this museum and it has both an excellent view of central park and a bar where you can get some beer wine or a cocktail. The cafe serves wine beer specialty drinks coffee soft drinks light snacks and desserts to pick you up after hours of art and culture. Visitors are treated to unobstructed panoramic views of nyc s skyline and central park s lush treetops. The met s rooftop terrace open from may to late fall is a delightful spot for a breath of fresh air.

The metropolitan museum of art is reopening to the public on august 29 and with that will come the reveal of its latest rooftop garden installation.
